Wedding sampler with an embroidered heart and optional text.
The red cross stitch heart comes from a groom’s shirt from Gästrikland, and is marked with the year 1847.
The original text reads: “ET BRUDEPAR PPS OCK AID I WERKEBRO IAG ÖNSKAR EDDER LYCKA OCH WÄLGÅN ÅR 1847”.
You can use your own text and choose your own floss color, the entire pattern is stitched in a single color. For the heart and the text, you will need three skeins of DMC floss.
The zip file includes one pattern with the original text, one without text, and an alphabet and numbers so that you can add your own text in the heart.
