I created this pattern based on a cross-stitch wedding sampler from 1836.
Unfortunately it is not an exact reproduction. I was unable to interpret the entire text in the original. The original is embroidered on linen with uneven stitches; here I have converted it into counted cross stitch so that more people can enjoy the pattern.
You embroider the entire heart using a single color. An alphabet and numbers are included, so you can choose your own text. It fits, for example, in a frame that is 30 × 40 cm.
