This traditional wedding embroidery has space for initials and a year in the upper part of the heart.
The pattern originates from a groom’s shirt dated 1831. It is symmetrical and includes symbols such as eight-pointed roses and crosses.
You can embroider the piece in any colors you like, for example, you can combine red and blue, or stitch the entire pattern in a single color.
Embroidered using full cross stitches with two strands of DMC embroidery floss on Aida or linen.
Suitable for a 30cm × 30cm frame.
The finished size depends on the fabric you choose:
Aida 5.4 stitches/cm or 11 thread linen: 25 x 25 cm
Aida 6.4 stitches/cm or 12.6 thread linen: 22 x 22 cm
